Root Canals (Endodontics)

Commonly known as root canal treatments, endodontics is the removal of diseased tissue from inside the tooth, and subsequent replacement with an internal filling.

This procedure permits the patient to retain a tooth that was decaying, infected, or somehow damaged.

In most cases, Dr. Schmeler places a crown on the tooth to complete the procedure.
